Can we find peace?

God is a God of peace. He offers confidence and assurance and quiet. Like the calm green of woodland ferns the scriptures offer us the Word of God. ‘Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.’ ‘ Ye shall find rest unto your souls.’ God offers stillness of heart.’ Be still and know that I am God.’ Like a tired child you can rest in the Lord and put all your weight on Him and begin to breathe again.
